SMS Communications

Tempo uses SMS to notify band members about rehearsals, gigs, and group messages. You opt in to receive SMS messages by voluntarily providing your phone number in your profile settings within the Tempo app. A disclosure is displayed next to the phone number field explaining that by providing your number, you agree to receive SMS notifications. Providing your phone number is entirely optional — the app works fully without it.

You can also opt out by removing your phone number from your profile in the app. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS messages are sent through Twilio, our messaging service provider. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
