Welcome to Tempo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tempo application and services.

About Tempo

Tempo is a scheduling tool for bands and musicians. The service helps bands coordinate rehearsals, manage gigs, and send invites to band members via SMS or email.

Account Registration

To use Tempo, you must:

• Sign in with a phone number you control
• Provide accurate information
• Be at least 13 years of age
• Keep your account secure

Acceptable Use

When using Tempo, you agree not to:

• Use the service for spam or unsolicited messages
• Send harassing, threatening, or illegal content
• Invite people via phone number or email without their knowledge
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

SMS Messaging Terms

Tempo offers optional SMS notifications for band scheduling and communication. By providing your phone number in your profile settings within the Tempo app, you consent to receive SMS messages from Tempo. A disclosure is displayed next to the phone number field at the point of opt-in.

• Program Name: Tempo Band Notifications
• Types of Messages: Rehearsal reminders, gig notifications, RSVP requests, and band invitations
• Message Frequency: Varies based on band activity, typically a few messages per week
• Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply
• Opt-In: Affirmative, via an unchecked consent checkbox on the public webform at tempocal.app/sms-signup or in your Tempo profile settings
• Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message, or remove your phone number from your profile in the app
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile information and opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. For full details, see our SMS Terms & Consent page.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (band info, messages, etc.). By using Tempo, you grant us permission to store and transmit your content to provide the service.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Tempo available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with or without notice.

Limitation of Liability

Tempo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including missed rehearsals, scheduling conflicts, or undelivered messages.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Tempo after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
